 · Western fans will be happy to find 3 gems by Patsy Montana and the Prairie Ramblers, including “The Gold Coast Express” and “Wild and Reckless Cowboy,” Elton Britt’s very rare recording of “Twilight on the Trail,” Louise Massey & the Westerners’ “Riding Down that Old Texas Trail,” Tex Ritter’s “Every Day in the Saddle” (), “The Oregon Trail” by Eddie and Jimmie Dean () and a song .

  1. Twilight On The Trail was the very first L.P. I ever purchased. I acquired a copy in when it was first released and played it to death. Over the years I have bought at least 3 replacement copies of the LP, and when it was at last released on CD couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The album remains one of my all-time favourites/5(7).

  2. The Singing Cowboys. I wasn't. Happy Trails! Read more. 2 people found this helpful.
