 · Sharks is a strong outing by UFO with some of there better later day tunes including Outlaw Man, Serenity, Shadow Dancer, and Sea of Faith. Mogg sounds great as does the band playing with the high energy level that made them a great live act.

This album is high energy rock that ranks among UFO's best albums (including Phenomenon and Lights Out). This is NOT a last breath effort by an aging metal band this music sounds fresh and electric. Highlights include Quicksilver Rider and Serenity. If you enjoy hard rocking virtuoso guitars and powerful vocals, buy this cd/5(90).

This is a solid UFO album with Schenker back. Oddly, it doesn't sound like 70's UFO or anything from the Vinnie Moore era. These are well written, punchy songs that concentrate more on riffs than solos in my opinion. If you're not sure about this one, sample "Deadman Walking" or /5(90).

  2. Sharks comes two decades after UFO's last meaningful hit, at a time when you'd think UFO would call it a day and raise a glass to the late '70s, when Lights Out and Obsession were huge and Strangers in the Night was being heralded as a landmark live album. But rock & roll junkies to a man, they simply cannot let it lie. And thank goodness for that, because Sharks is far from the /5(86).
