While not the straight-ahead country rock that was on that album, New Morning is just as laid back and just as warm. Looking at the 70s as a new opportunity to reach new audiences and expand on his muse, Dylan writes and plays some enjoyable but overrated tracks are If Not For You, Day Of The Locusts, Went To See The Gypsy, and The Man In Me/5().

  2. It has the following label variation: all song titles are printed below the spindle hole, and the title at 12 O'clock has BOB DYLAN over NEW MORNING. The first US pressings of this LP have an unedited intro of tuning/noodling and spoken intro "Ok, here we go" at the start of the title track (B1). On subsequent issues, this was edited out.
